This past summer my boyfriend inherited a house. My boyfriend can barely dress himself let alone decorate a house. Obviously the fashion major girlfriend came to the rescue. This house is completely barren; no paint, no molding, no furniture...nothing. We had to start from scratch. As many people know, no matter how much you want to move in immediately it is so much easier to decorate a house before you move. However, he was living with friends when he was given his own home so he decided to move in. Not only did he move in alone, but he invited two of his friends to live with him as his roommates. So the little 5'4 girlfriend has to decorate around the three very opinionated 6'5 men. First, I started asking around for any furniture any one wanted to give away because with new random bills and house things my boyfriend just couldn't juggle it all at once. I received tons of palm tree and beach themed stuff because we live near the east coast in the middle of all beaches. I figured the living room could be beachy and random furniture that didn't match could go in the "man cave." However, the beach theme just doesn't appeal in this house, it's too manly and we live in the country. So we scratched the beach theme and I thought we should bring the man cave throughout the whole house. Of course I got some inspiration from Pinterest.</div>

I love the way they decorated this big wall and used all of the space. In the living room one wall is HUGE and there's no way you could ever cover it all. This wall covering would be perfect for it.<br />

But like all things, I had to jump on the bandwagon and try it out. However, I decided to wear a shirt that was almost to my knees. </span></span><br />

For my arm candy I wore my favorite watch by Michael Kors. Which can be found <a href="http://www.michaelkors.com/p/Michael-Kors-Michael-Kors-Mid-Size-Golden-Stainless-Steel-Gramercy-Three-Hand-Glitz-Watch-VIEW-ALL-WATCHES/prod18890007_cat7502_cat35701_/?index=128&cmCat=cat000000cat145cat35701cat7502&isEditorial=false" target="_blank">here</a>.The face is really big so it doesn't give much room for many bracelets so I wore only my gold chain bracelet. The bracelet is a knockoff of the classic John Wind charm bracelet.<br />

After getting out my winter clothes, I realized that I really don't have that many winter clothes. This weekend me and my mom went out shopping and I thought I would share what we bought.</div>

Chunky pearl necklaces are so in this season. I wanted to join the crowd but every pearl necklace I saw was too expensive or not chunky enough. I found this chunky necklace at Roses when I was buying cheap christmas lights (I know, a little early) and it was only 6 dollars! It comes in silver and gold but I wear more gold now.<br />

I got these two necklaces at a local boutique that I worked at this summer. I needed a jewel looking neutral necklace and thought this was perfect! I also love this style. The gold necklace underneath is a long heavy gold chain with pearls and crosses. It is super cute with sweaters and boots.<br />

And lastly I wore my beloved Alex and Ani braclets. I got them from the boutique that I worked at this summer but you can get them from any Nordstrom. These braceletes are charm bracelets but you can not put charms on them, they stack. I got the tiara bracelet the day the royal baby was born, not on purpose. The "Because I love you" bracelet was from my boyfriend. The mermaid I bought on my own. And the Sailboat and Sister bracelet were from my mom and brother for my birthday. Every bracelet comes in either gold or silver but all of mine are silver except the sister bracelet.Savannah http://www.blogger.com/profile/10040340931226507728noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3424210491928308132.post-47976764942383682582013-09-25T00:30:00.000-07:002013-09-25T00:30:02.736-07:00Latest Yard Sale/Flea Market Finds<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I have always wanted to paint my room, it was a peach color for as long as we've lived in our current house. However, I happen to have the heaviest furniture known to man, or atleast known to me. Both my sleigh bed and big desk are from Pottery Barn kids a few years back and they are made of super thick white painted wood. I decided I would paint everything and then move my furniture just enough to get behind to paint and then put them back, with the help of my boyfriend of course.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had a red chair and mirror table at the end of my bed. I traded the chair out for my mirror that holds jewelry inside. My mirror was against the wall between my bathroom door and bedroom door but it was always in the way because it comes out so far. I decided that if I put it in the corner than I would be able to dress better and have easier access to my jewelry. On my mirror table I have a Tiffany box that my Tiffany cup came in, my Tiffany cup, and some old vintage things.</div>

I really like to craft and be creative so I decided to do some for my room. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgU7x_nocEDcqJdoT8ZL0Q0ItsvcXaM1Irq_DbfeY0hg4dXwM_MWn4X-fZGPxG_hsNyx9vfQy4g-IQjIl8gH_dOPfx3mgLScdPDSZxSuFo3VDmvm6-IjjnQef3i5Agp8479od1R6f2gjK4/s1600/Photo+50.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgU7x_nocEDcqJdoT8ZL0Q0ItsvcXaM1Irq_DbfeY0hg4dXwM_MWn4X-fZGPxG_hsNyx9vfQy4g-IQjIl8gH_dOPfx3mgLScdPDSZxSuFo3VDmvm6-IjjnQef3i5Agp8479od1R6f2gjK4/s320/Photo+50.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="text-align: center;">I kept seeing jewelry holders all over pinterest but didn't see any I particularly liked. I thought about it all summer and finally thought of a way to show my necklaces and actually match my room. I went to Wal-mart and got wood pieces from the craft section. I painted them Duck Egg blue from the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint collection and stenciled a crown with simple white craft paint. The white hooks in the corner of the picture were super difficult to twist in but I got them in and they work great for necklaces. </span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The canvas below was inspired by a pinterest find. I copied the quote and pearls that someone had painted on a canvas from pinterest. The burlap however was my idea. The canvas on pinterest as painted tan but I covered my canvas with burlap and then painted the quote and pearls on the burlap which was not easy. I painted the canvas not knowing where I was going to put it. My mom had a great idea that I should make three more to match and use over my bed.</div>

The people that lived in our apartment before us left cabinets full of empty wine bottles. I almost through them all away but I decided to keep a few in case I came across a way to use them. I found a picture online that showed wine bottles wrapped in twine. I wrapped it in twine that I found at Dollar Tree and glued it in place with my glue gun. I now use it as a vase for a fake hydrangea I found in the flower section in Wal-mart.</div>

Last but certainly not least, I took a normal bulletin board from Wal-mart and painted it the same Duck Egg blue that I painted my necklace holders. I got a packet of stencils from eBay and used the one the picture to stencil a design with white craft paint. After it dried I used silver thumbtacks to make a shiny border that gives the look of upholstered furniture.</div>

It is my third year in college and I have earned 60 hours so I finally earned the right to move out of the dorms, best part of being a junior! haha I didn't move very far, however, I moved to the apartments on campus but I love it. But enough of my life story, it's time to see my room!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbtw77_du59cyyFDY42n-ju9X-FEw4dIhykLxAaf48muS8G0ZbWc5WEbInk4-hCO_xQsH3uFU_NRUXtFeDSmYsT9gXRxGNc1suXBQWU44u59NCrulK5tjW-sr_igQbTeia7LNJdYbK2Gg/s1600/room+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbtw77_du59cyyFDY42n-ju9X-FEw4dIhykLxAaf48muS8G0ZbWc5WEbInk4-hCO_xQsH3uFU_NRUXtFeDSmYsT9gXRxGNc1suXBQWU44u59NCrulK5tjW-sr_igQbTeia7LNJdYbK2Gg/s320/room+1.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
The view when you come in, the room came equipped with a bed, dresser, a rolling desk chair, and desk. I brought my black chair that I used as a desk chair last year, an old shelf from Pier One Imports that once sat in my room at home, a TV, and other decorations.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihiOLZ_XOYKBnc8S6qaVtPsdApBjoRH92kW4ucJP8TipYoA9Xc-Kklg_QZ7clDyUfDpae5i3pwA1uCZUYuowRvOpwQr5H4-pduqULiBsIVfF7t9FMl0wJP_0c8EyrVfYfNtM_oZLafJyM/s1600/room+7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihiOLZ_XOYKBnc8S6qaVtPsdApBjoRH92kW4ucJP8TipYoA9Xc-Kklg_QZ7clDyUfDpae5i3pwA1uCZUYuowRvOpwQr5H4-pduqULiBsIVfF7t9FMl0wJP_0c8EyrVfYfNtM_oZLafJyM/s320/room+7.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
The blue plaques are necklace holders that I crafted so I could have easy access to my jewelry and display them.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My pink mirror is my favorite decoration in my whole room. My mom found it while thrifting. Someone had painted an old plastic mirror a hot pink color which matched my bedspread perfectly. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My bed spread is a little on the wild side, especially for me. I'm very flashy when it comes to what I like and what I wear but I have a more mature approach to it. However, this Cynthia Rowley bedspread is a little more juvenile that my taste, but I love it. I got it from Marshalls for around seventy dollars. My favorite part about it is that it matches everything because of the many colors in it.</div>

<br />
Lastly is my desk, I decided to keep the ugly rolling chair mainly because I don't have anything else to do with it. I painted the bulletin board on the wall and brought back my lamp and shoe tape dispenser from my dorm. Ignore the buckets, they were my presents to my littles.<br />

I know I'm a little late, but I have a new found love...Gossip Girl! The reason for my new found love is because of another thing I'm late on...Netflix! I just got it and I am utterly in LOVE with Netflix and Gossip Girl. I'm only on the first season (remember I'm a college student, if I wasn't I'd be starting the 5th season by now) but I have never liked a TV show so much. I was looking at Gossip Girl pictures on instagram and found this adorable outfit that Blair is wearing, and it is totally trendy. Just like all the other Springs, baby blue and cute hats are really in this year as seen on "Blair" from Gossip Girl. </div>

Hats are in more than usual this spring and more people are jumping on the hat band wagon. Women are practically making events just to have a reason to buy the coveted Marley Lilly monogrammed derby hat as seen in the next two pictures, you can buy them <a href="http://www.marleylilly.com/" target="_blank">here</a>.<br />

Raleigh, NC has amazing consignment shops, however, some mark their prices up too high. Prices in some consignment shops are almost as high as the item would be new. The best thing about buying high end clothing brands at a bargain is no one can tell, the only way to tell is if it looks out of style already or if people have the seasons of the brand memorized. The top brands that have a long life span is the classics, like lilly pulitzer, nautica, izod, lacoste, and other preppy brands. Anywho, I digress. I found a few great deals this weekend and would like to share them.<br />

My mom bought me this cute and springy Michael Kors shirt for only $24.99 at Stein Mart compared to $59.50! The best thing about Michael Kors is his great style and you can usually find him at any discount store such as Stein Mart, Marshall's, TJMaxx, etc.<br />

<br />
I got this neon orange shirt from Marshall's for only $12.99 compared to $18, it's made by Say What?, which is popular at Belk. The only reason I got it is because of its trendy spring color, and the front is made of like a summer sweater and the back and the bottom of the front is made of chiffon. This would be great paired with white jeans and nautical jewelry.<br />

The first is a vineyard vines patchwork skirt I got at a great store in Raleigh, NC, its name is "dress", I kid you not. It has different patches of typical vineyard vines fabric and it will never go out of style, it is very nostalgic and typical vineyard vines. The fabric pieces have things like sailboats, golfclubs, palm trees, and golf balls. I got this great skirt for only $28.00 compared to a similar looking skirt by vineyard vines at $128.00 seen <a href="http://www.vineyardvines.com/womens-dresses-skirts/Womens-Dresses-Skirts,default,sc.html" target="_blank">here</a>.<br />

Another great Marshall's find is another trendy look of coral, white, and tan which will be very popular this spring. It is very thin and not very hot, it has the summer sweater feel and would be great for cold summer nights. I got it for $14.99 compared to $22.00 and it is also by Say What?. (The picture does not do it justice, plus I've already worn it so its very wrinkled.)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The second skirt I bought is from Marshall's as well and it is a soft cotton casual skirt that is perfect for an event such as a cookout. I got it for $19.99 compared to $49.50 as written on the Nautica tag.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw9g8Gk1LZoEpaaPw_NY-MeRsjPqwwvbwvg1l3TOe9_YqmG5QU_dxeHvZj4dUUUvRDJD9FVb-Rr5EDltII34BARoxcP35r51IofzFDJdzx-uP53TETNU6rRGSKxhw3WVJPVLWdh4xCqAg/s1600/Photo+10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw9g8Gk1LZoEpaaPw_NY-MeRsjPqwwvbwvg1l3TOe9_YqmG5QU_dxeHvZj4dUUUvRDJD9FVb-Rr5EDltII34BARoxcP35r51IofzFDJdzx-uP53TETNU6rRGSKxhw3WVJPVLWdh4xCqAg/s320/Photo+10.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
I got this simple seersucker skirt made by SANDRO at Marshall's for $16.99 compared to $32.00.<br />

Also from Marshall's is this IZOD cotton polo to match all of the skirts I bought, plus the pants below. It was only $12.99 compared to the $36.00 price on the tag.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Like I said before, Lilly Pulitzer items can never be out of date, they are classic that are in style every spring and summer. However, it is crucial that you try on the lilly item before buying regardless of what size it is. Because almost everything is close to 100% cotton they can shrink and I have tried on numerous lilly clothing and the previous owners had wash them too many times or put them in the dryer. I bought these adorable mom and baby monkey print (from what I got from ebay it is called "mommy and me") capri pants, the tag is an older lilly tag unlike the newer pink tags so this print is probably a few years old. I got them for $36.00 dollars compared to the normal price of lilly pants at $168.<br />

The biggest excitement of all the things I bought were these wonderful Jack Roger wedges. I own a black pair and silver pair of the typical jack roger classic navajo but I have never seen the heels until I ran into them at Dress. These heels were only $38.00 compared to the $188 pair on the Jack Roger website. They are made with the signature Jack Roger leather with detail and wooden heels.<br />

Since it is my first week back to school I decided to stay at school over the weekend. To make my weekend worthwhile I stopped at the local fleamarket, which is only a few blocks away, this morning. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
At fleamarkets I only buy things that completely stop me in my tracks, things that I simply can not live without and this fleamarket always has good deals and antiques. Much to my surprise there really wasn't that much that caught my eye. I finally settled on buying these gorgeous salt shakers below because the man selling them saw me pick them up and gave me a deal I couldn't refuse. I have no idea what possessed me to buy them, I don't even have a kitchen, let alone a house! But anywho after I purchased them I sent a picture of them to my mom (http://ramblingssg.blogspot.com/) she immediately fell in love and commented that they would be a wonderful birthday present for her haha. </div>

<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I got these bad boys for only $12!</div>
They are <span style="text-align: center;">Neco sliver plated</span><br />
<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span>
<span style="text-align: center;">As I got ready to leave and give up I saw this precious little teacup with out a saucer sitting on the shelf in a little old woman's booth. I knew it was going to be a little pricey because her booth was inside unlike the cheaper booths that are outside, but a teacup without a saucer is usually marked down. As I picked it up to examine it closer the woman said she would negotiate prices because it was already the afternoon and she was ready to get her stuff gone. I looked at the price tag and asked if she would take $8 instead of her $12 listing price and she agreed.</span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I collect teacups but usually only if they have saucers. However, this cup is my ultimate favorite teacup I've found so far. From the side view it looks like a plain jane white teacup with a gold stripe. But if you take a look inside it has bright blue/teal background with a little scene of a man and woman.</div>

Mondays are definitely manic enough but before Christmas is even worse! Christmas Eve is usually so busy until the night because people are rushing to get last minute things for their Christmas Eve evening dinner or santa. To add christmas cheer I thought I'd share this...The other day I got a manicure and these were too cute not to share. A little chinese man did this cute nail art on both hands on the third finger. He started with a window, then put a snowman behind it, then added a present in the bottom left corner, a christmas tree, and finally a star on the top. It's the cutest little thing I've ever seen.</div>

My bestfriend from high school is a senior this year so I hardly ever get to see her while I'm in college. Therefore, everytime I'm home we get together. Since I was in 9th grade and she was in 7th we've always had tacky christmas parties. However, the next year she invited all of our friends again and none of them showed up but me. They all had legitimate reasons for their absence and instead of being discouraged we actually had the time of our lives, just us two. I'm not really sure where or when our friendship started but I think it was this particular party that made us inseparable. From then on we had our normal tacky christmas parties, but just for us two while we sang Shania Twain's "Party for Two" (below).</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
How funny is it that they swing on a chandelier, one day I want to attempt that same stunt. Anywho, fast forward four years later and we're older, more mature, and wiser...but we are doing the same exact thing. We bought (separably) some new (just kidding...thrift store) tacky sweaters and got together to fix a Hello Kitty holiday cookie house. </div>

Our cute Hello Kitty holiday cookie house turned out soooo cute. FYI- it's called a holiday cookie house because it's made from sugar cookie, not gingerbread. I'm guessing because they wanted it pink?<br />

One of our activities for our 25 days of christmas was to decorate cookies. My brother didn't like this idea and my boyfriend was surfing the web so I did them myself. Before anyone feels bad for me just a little bit, don't be, I was pretty excited to be able to make cookies by myself. I say this because boys don't usually make or decorate cookies cute so I could do whatever I wanted.</div>

I love baking so much, however I can NOT work a icing bag at all. It always comes out the wrong end, or the icing won't go in the bag at all, or I just can't find all the parts to start with. I obviously needed a solution. On pinterest I saw this cool idea, why not put icing in a condiment bottle so it makes a perfect line!? Also, another plus is it doesn't make such a mess. The bottles are really cheap at Walmart maybe 90 cents give or take.<br />

Remember when MTV actually had decent shows like cribs and pimp my ride, or maybe I just thought they were cool when I was in middle school. Any who, our little gingerbread house for our 25 days of christmas activities turned out precious. We decided to get the "Rudolf the Rednosed Reindeer" (the classic Christmas movie) kit from BigLots for $10 and put it together. However, coming from someone who likes to have lots of candy to choose from when decorating; it didn't have but two candy selections: sugar balls and gumdrops, gummy characters, and two teeny candy canes. I wouldn't recommend it for someone who has kids that are really into going crazy with different candy selections. Although the gummy characters were cool, they were just too heavy and fell every two seconds. But besides the lack of candy, it turned out cute!</div>

One of our many activities for 25 days of Christmas was breakfast for dinner and the boys were so excited to pull this activity from their candy bar. I mean, who doesn't love breakfast for dinner?! Our spread consist of bacon, pancakes and syrup, sausage, and dad's self proclaimed "best scrambled eggs ever that grandma used to make." Boy was he right about that, they were great! NOTHING beats a southern breakfast, especially when you don't have to wake up early.</div>

Me! Me! Me!I've never been so excited for Christmas in a while, maybe because I'm home from school all month. I wanted to cherish each day of December leading up to Christmas. As I waited for my Christmas break to start I went online and got enough ideas for each day. However, the activities are for my boyfriend (20), brother(14), and I (19) so I needed to make them age appropriate and exciting. To add more incentive to participate: I wrote each activity on a piece of paper, cut them out in strips, and taped them to fun sized candy bars. <br />

If you haven't noticed already, I don't have exactly 25 activities to add flexibility with our schedules. My boyfriend works, attends the nearest community college, and volunteers at our local fire department; my brother has school and basketball practice or game every night so we aren't able to do it every night. Also some of the activities can't be picked at random because the last one is reserved for the 24th and a few depend on town activities (for example, live nativity, and parades.) Lastly I have put "drive around and look at lights" four times because we can drive in our own town and the towns around us each night.</div>

I've never been to a Burke's Outlet but I ran across one during a day trip. The biggest excitement of my trip was finding these wonderful shoes. </div>

These cheetah print high heels were only $24.99. A pair of these Carlos Santana shoes would run about 80.00 dollars and I got them for way less than half.<br />

Have you ever tossed your makeup and wished you could have gotten more product but just couldn't get it out. Urban Decay is a higher end makeup line found in Ulta and Sephora. They are notorious for making "Urban Decay Primer Potion" and their "Naked" pallets. Before, primer potion came in a potion bottle like in the picture below and it was the hardest thing to get all the product. They have <span style="background-color: white;">decided to change to the bottle but you can still do this DIY with any makeup. You can cut in a tube with scissors and saw a plastic bottle with a knife. However, do NOT try getting into anything glass, if its in glass it would have come out.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWZ3IUWLvyfu_FatvE8tfkE34yzvhyphenhyphenPTvJm87l1fOvR7L2mECqdpVYycfcbnvnf3kSIY_SsuE0tc5BmtiELUsdlklpWZS8fW3fxjKZb7u0ipNLhZKnTdQ2WxvFHtI9SVTx6XRiSvP6PaI/s1600/DSCN0899-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWZ3IUWLvyfu_FatvE8tfkE34yzvhyphenhyphenPTvJm87l1fOvR7L2mECqdpVYycfcbnvnf3kSIY_SsuE0tc5BmtiELUsdlklpWZS8fW3fxjKZb7u0ipNLhZKnTdQ2WxvFHtI9SVTx6XRiSvP6PaI/s320/DSCN0899-1.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>
<br />
Find a "travel size" jar to fill up with product. I just happened to run out of a MAC paintpot so I recycled the jar. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-pfgfeyQiDIpO7T78TgB4kLauBWwLAEN207ATPIjOA5ZXKxLMJx7pasMMJsg8WMQbUo3uwngqt0Ff6yBP1lIAGuHg63b1I5xdlM8x5KJGESyfNzRmoeqF8f4sBNrZnUvWYlkZHRVZFL8/s1600/DSCN0900-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-pfgfeyQiDIpO7T78TgB4kLauBWwLAEN207ATPIjOA5ZXKxLMJx7pasMMJsg8WMQbUo3uwngqt0Ff6yBP1lIAGuHg63b1I5xdlM8x5KJGESyfNzRmoeqF8f4sBNrZnUvWYlkZHRVZFL8/s320/DSCN0900-1.jpg" width="284" /></a></div>
<br />
Cut the bottle with a knife or simply cut a tube with scissors. Use the wand to get every ounce of makeup left over out.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhI-0X2iV00faLFCiACxoIss1NZjwbmVnlV8dcA1a3YdNTjU9krauJmOb2egFYpXcDmYEhgcLqci6DWEDL-GwSwQnyhEqcbowcjobMBtjdj_oKbTy0or4Ht2TRI5s14ayKp6HjdfHzmpVA/s1600/DSCN0903-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="264" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhI-0X2iV00faLFCiACxoIss1NZjwbmVnlV8dcA1a3YdNTjU9krauJmOb2egFYpXcDmYEhgcLqci6DWEDL-GwSwQnyhEqcbowcjobMBtjdj_oKbTy0or4Ht2TRI5s14ayKp6HjdfHzmpVA/s320/DSCN0903-1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The finished product. I would have thrown the primer potion away because I thougjht it was out. However, by opening it I quickly found that there was plently left! Cheap, easy, and saves money.Savannah http://www.blogger.com/profile/10040340931226507728noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3424210491928308132.post-78037833216086079162012-06-26T00:00:00.000-07:002012-06-26T00:00:10.967-07:00Big Lots Makeup<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

First is my shirt and shorts, I got them Sunday at New York & Company. On Father's Day they had a 50% off everything in the store sale, which is still going on. The shorts look like just a normal pair of khaki shorts but in fact they are actual tan linen shorts with a metallic sheen. To see a closer view click <a href="http://www.nyandcompany.com/nyco/prod/Apparel/Shorts/The-Gramercy-Metallic-Short" target="_blank">here</a>. The shirt is a silky hot barbie pink sleeveless shirt with elongated tails. It gives the illusion of a button down but actually it isn't and has a pocket on both breast. I found this shirt in the back section where the sale clothes are but the shirt in white, blue, and black can be found on the website <a href="http://www.nyandcompany.com/nyco/prod/Apparel/Shorts/The-Gramercy-Metallic-Short" target="_blank">here</a>.<br />

After eating at Calabash, NC I ran over to the knick knack store across the road and found this sea shell ring. It is an actual sea shell cut to wear as a ring. The nail polish I wore was Essie "Lights" and for an accent nail OPI "Designer de Better!" from "The Muppets" 2011 Holiday collection.<br />

Ever have one of those nights where you want to do absolutely nothing but pamper yourself? Or maybe you are like me and the leg touch ups before you leave the house are desperately needing a complete shave. Another possibility is that you just refuse to pay almost twenty dollars for a simple pack of razors. If you have answered yes to any of these scenarios then I'm here to resolve your issue.<br />

<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKEBHbvysX8cJNh2hJpY-LW_EYlCbILLObR9KAdD4XPDepzJY3CwwcOYAMx_eKcMvzSBrmw_zDmsx2nyVYppSPNIywT2vc1urNhssYhm8B8zOqJGkap-W0-vuXUD6Qu2AhDInjOY8BM00/s1600/2207752.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKEBHbvysX8cJNh2hJpY-LW_EYlCbILLObR9KAdD4XPDepzJY3CwwcOYAMx_eKcMvzSBrmw_zDmsx2nyVYppSPNIywT2vc1urNhssYhm8B8zOqJGkap-W0-vuXUD6Qu2AhDInjOY8BM00/s1600/2207752.jpg" /></a>This Venus Tropical pack of disposable razors are amazing. Not only do they get the job done. They are cheap, VERY sharp (almost like men's razors), and the handles SMELL! Not even joking, the handles smell amazing and they're supposed to. I applaud Venus for being so smart and thoughtful.<br />

You do not have to put an ugly nude or childish printed band-aid on your cut. Cynthia Rowley has debuted the cutest band-aids ever for a limited time. The prints include black lace, runway models, sequins, gems, gold chains, and her very own cynthia rowley logo. There are twenty to a pack and are a collector's series.<br />

<span style="text-align: -webkit-auto;">I actually got a chance to do a little shopping the other day with my mom. We ran into the mall and hit Charlotte Russe and Forever 21. I bought some really cute trendy things to update my wardrobe without spending a bunch. Here's what I got...</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: -webkit-auto;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: -webkit-auto;"> This Charlotte Russe print top is just too cute! The basic top is accented with vibrant blues, reds, and purples and has rhinestones across the chest. It has a slight oversized look but won't swallow you like the trendy tops that you find in any store.</span></div>

<br /></div>
I found this bright top at Forever 21. It is bright hilghliter pink (it doesn't show its true color in the picture) and it is a burnout wash so when everyone washes this shirt they each get a different effect. Like the Charlotte Russe shirt above, this shirt is slightly oversized and is perfect for the summer. It can be dressed up or thrown over a bikini top for a simple dressed down look. The necklace that I chose is also from Forever 21, it is 10+ strings of bright silver beads.<br />

I just couldn't settle for one necklace so I also selected this simple rabbit for a dressed down look. This adorable rabbit looks so similar to the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland and it has a small rhinestone collar.<br />

Everything I found was wonderful but my favorite was this cute cocktail ring. In the first picture it looks turquoise but it is actually a light green. The stone is centered in a blinged out rhinestone setting.<br />

I have found, on accident, the perfect "Tiffany" color! Me and my boyfriend were grabbing a few things from our local Wal-Mart and he told me to choose nail polishes for Easter. I have taught him that the best presents a person can get me is the one I pick out (haha just kidding, okay not really...), so he let me pick out a few of my Easter presents. I saw this Essie nail polish (pictured below) in "turquoise & caicos." I believe that is the worst name they have ever come up with but I love the color anyways.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Side by side, "Mint Candy Apple" and "turquoise & caicos", you can tell a major difference.Savannah http://www.blogger.com/profile/10040340931226507728noreply@blogger.com0
